JUST DO IT!

Hola amigos, ¿Cómo va? It's been a lit week. It is my final P day in the MTC and I leave for my mission at 2:30 in the morning to hop on a 2 hour flight and get to my mission at 8:00 in the morning! Yall I'm actually ready to go but at the same time I've gotten comfortable here and have made some life long friends here that are gonna be hard to leave. I really do not want to pack up all my stuff again and hop on a plane. I've got my first day itinerary for the field and it's gonna be a long day. First I'm probably not going to sleep on Tuesday night because we leave at 2:30 and I got to pack then I got a flight there then we have interviews with the President and going to take pics outside of the temple then rest for 2 hours and then go on splits with missionaries so pray that I don't absolutely die the first day!!🙏🙏 It feels so weird because now we are the oldest ones in the MTC and we had to say goodbye to the week before us and that was hard because we got really close with them in our hall. Okay y'all I'm officially tired of eating the same thing everyday. The only good part of the meal is the rice and beans so that's good still. So on P day last week I was able to go to the supermarket and I got 2 mangos and it was the best thing that has ever happened to me, they were absolutely amazing! Spiritual experience So in my Sunday Classes we talked about giving something up for God or just trying to do more in your studies and everyone was saying how they wanted to read the whole Book of Mormon in their 5 weeks in the MTC and I was only in 1 Nephi so I was obviously lacking heavily in that department. Then I felt strongly expressed that I need to finish the Book of Mormon before I left but my second thought was “no way I could do that in 9 days” but then the thought came again you need to do this. So I started on Sunday and was determined to finish it before I left, so basically every spare moment I have I try to read some. I think I was a little too determined because I just finished it today so basically I read the whole Book of Mormon in 5 days and y'all this book is Amazing and has blessed my life and lot these past 5 days from everything to Português to staying awake in class it really has been incredibly experience!! I LOVE THIS BOOK!! I know this book is a true word of God and that we can learn something new everytime we read it!! Also don’t listen to that second thought if the first thought is good and helps you come closer to God, just do it no matter how absurd it is JUST DO IT! I love you all and I'm going to keep yall in my prayers also shoutout to everyone who sent me an email those might be the highlights of my week Peace out - Elder Cox
