Humility

What is up peeps!!!!! с днем рождения Huge shout out to The One and Only Elder Bridges and I hope you had an amazing one in Estonia! Another week in the books out here in Brazil. Got some crazy lore to drop on my comp, lets just say he has had a Vida Loca!! The work is going great. I had a huge miracle finding people after being out of action for a day because of my comps migraine problems… and apparently happens a lot and it's so boring just being in the house most of the day. But the next day we found 13 new people to teach which was an absolute blessing now we just got to get them to church!! So back to my comps lore, apparently he used to run guns and drugs over the borders and was an “uber for the gang” that's how he put it not me… So basically he knows how to cook crack and all that stuff sooo crazy, but now he’s an amazing servant of God!! He has the biggest testimony of the world and an amazing missionary, like I don’t even have to train’em! Pensamento Espiritual!! I have been studying a lot about humility!! Humility I think is one of the most important Christlike attributes! When we are humble it doesn’t mean we think we are worth less, it just means we think about ourselves less and focus on others. The most humble people are usually the most successful people because they are always willing to accept advice to improve no matter where it comes from. I have probably learned more about missionary work in the last 2 weeks than the whole time I’ve been here. For those who know me, I am a pretty prideful person and it's hard for me to admit I am wrong (sorry to all my friends in the hot tub arguments). My kid has a lot of different ideas on how we can help people and it's been a struggle trying not to tell him off but instead I have been trying to listen and apply the ideas he has and use his life experience. So my invitation to yall is to try to be more humble this week, accept criticism and apply what you learn. Don’t be afraid to say the words “I am sorry I was wrong” 👈 that's for Park and Tom 🤙Elder Cox
